The Training requirements for a fully qualified Radix Practitioner |
|
|
Once accepted formal training takes approximately 2½ to 3 years. In that time the trainee must complete the following: (a) Give 200 sessions of supervised practised teaching to a group of clients (4 - 6) assembled by the trainee. (b) Take 3 years (minimum 150 - 200 sessions) of their own growth work in Radix (This is VERY important. George has completed over 400 sessions). (c) Pass an in depth (three hour sit down) Radix practitioners qualifying examination. (d) Take a minimum 100 hours of approved outside growth work training in related fields to Radix and body work, (eg Massage, Feldenkrais, Gestalt, Psychodrama, NLP etc). (e) Complete all monthly assignments, projects and reading material. (f) Attend all necessary workshops in Adelaide (for Australian trainees) and the USA. Total training hours: Approximately 1,500. The Radix program alone is intensive as well as expensive. It is a big commitment of time, money and energy. Not all who begin the training complete. It is mentally and emotionally demanding. It fully tests trainees. The standard and commitment required is high. But in the end, this produces highly competent and professional practitioners that you know are good. Practitioners that can professionally and safely handle the release of old emotional traumas/blockages in clients. In Australia there are currently 10 fully qualified active Radix Practitioners and 5 in training. Radix originated in the USA and was founded in 1971. There are practitioners world wide. His research and training is ongoing. |
