RADIX

BODY-CENTRED PSYCHOTHERAPY

WHAT IS RADIX?

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF RADIX?

Radix is an educational process in personal growth created by Dr. Charles Kelly back around 1971. Radix work promotes the integration of mind and body helping us to experience our real self. It combines elements of teaching, psychological processes, physical exercises, and body awareness which together facilitate personal insight and growth.

Radix practitioners work on freeing blocked feelings/emotions.

What is the goal of Radix?

The goal of Radix work is to experience and integrate feelings. Through a number of techniques and processes the body may be re-owned.

As practitioners we use a non-invasive approach, respectful of every individual's development of feelings. Each person is supported in taking healthy control over his or her life, learning how to construct and maintain boundaries and sustain a higher level of energy.

When is Radix used?

Because Radix work helps to free long buried feelings it is excellent work for helping people to 'feel more' again.

In feeling more deeply, people are more able to express their real self. Often people comment...."I feel more 'human' again". People's 'gut feel' about things can increase. And people tend to create better and more stable relationships with friends and loved ones as the reactiveness of old blocked emotions is released and resolved.

Past clients have reported some of the following benefits from Radix work........

A clearing of a long running Depression

Less emotional Over-eating

More Assertiveness

Fewer Body Pains and Less Stress
